Magnolia Leaf Litter

Magnolia leaves are a long standing staple of the reptile keeping hobby. A healthy layer of leaf litter provides necessary nutrients for isopods and other clean up crew, microbiomes, dry surfaces for tropical species to walk on and an overall positive visual experience. 

Our magnolia leaves are sourced locally and sustainably from sources we know and trust. We personally clean them and sort out the broken or incomplete leaves so we can offer only the best looking leaves to our customers. 

We trust these leaves for all of our animals from our isopods to our dart frogs. We’re sure you’ll love them too. 

Packed 16-20 leaves per pouch. Leaves range from 3-7 inches. 

To use simply add 1-2” thick layer of leaves on top of your soil. As they break down you’ll want to top off with fresh leaves to maintain a healthy layer of leaf litter. Leaf litter can additionally be broken up and mixed into your substrate to allow for extra aeration and drainage.
